Tina and I are getting ready to head to the Skin Script Empowerment Retreat on Friday, May 3rd and will be back at 0 dark 30 on Tuesday – no for real 1230 am! It will be a Village Grind Coffee Morning! LOL You have never heard or been to The Village Grind! What?? You have to go; their Rose Cardamom Syrup they make and add to any style of coffee you want is freaking awesome! I am so thankful they aren’t in my normal drive pattern. I would end up there every day. Their baked goods are amazing too! The ladies are all super nice and the décor is fab. I love the skylight with all the plants. But I digress…back to the Retreat!
We will be in Arizona learning about Skin Script Products, Skin Treatments, Health and Wellness, Oncology Esthetics, and of course the Esthetics Business as a whole. This is a super fun and educational retreat. We will have yoga every morning and a delicious breakfast to start the day off right for learning. I love when yummy food just presents itself and I don’t have to do anything or clean up! LOL.
Be sure to check out Facebook and Instagram for all the fun!
Love,
Nicole
Facial of the Month – Strawberry Lemonade Facial
The citrusy, tart Lemon Zest Enzyme is a great brightener for the skin, it contains 6% lactic acid, 3% glycolic acid, and 8% arbutin and 2% kojic. Perfect for normal and combination skin. It promotes deep hydration that protects from environmental damage while relieving the surface signs of aging. Arbutin and kojic provide extreme lightening capabilities.
Strawberry/Spearmint Mask contains kaolin clay to help absorb excess oil for pore refinement and to purify the skin. Strawberry fruit extract is an excellent source of antioxidants and vitamin C, which also nourishes and soothes the skin. Spearmint extract acts as an antibacterial and antioxidant ingredient. Relieves itching and helps with acne, dermatitis and congested skin.
The Strawberry Lemonade Facial is a great service for pro-aging, normal/combination skin, hyperpigmentation, sun damage and melasma. This brightening facial has lots of antioxidants that feed our cell membranes so they are permeable and allow nutrition to flow in and cellular waste to flow out as well as the detoxing properties of lemon and mint.
1 Hour Service – $70

Shh! – I need my Zen Time
This is something that has been on my mind and I feel probably needs to be said, or permission given to tell someone to zip their lips.
Do you ever go to have a treatment done and your practitioner talks the whole way through?
For sure sometimes when I get a treatment I am in the mood to talk, or just need to work through some things. We all know that our practitioners are also our therapists. As a practitioner I am totally okay with that. I always feel honored when someone feels comfortable enough to share something in their life that is very private or emotional. The tricky part to remember is to also be quiet and let the client rest.
Sometimes not talking and just resting is the best thing we can do for our mind and body. I love talking to my clients and catching up on their lives, their kids, or their pets, but really I should be quiet. I know some of my clients have come to me because their last practitioner talked too much and I am sure I have lost people because I talk too much.
If you are ever in session and I need to be reminded to be quiet, please tell me. (And I think speaking for most practitioners, please tell us.) I truly want you to have the best service possible. If that means you want to talk, then please talk. But if you need to rest or are exhausted, simply say “Nicole, close your mouth. Love you!” You have my permission! Lol. I personally want you to be happy and enjoy yourself – it is your time, not mine.
If I or another practitioner don’t listen to your needs, feel free to find someone that does. (If you can, email your former practitioner and say why you left. I know that is no fun but it helps us grow and become better practitioners.)
So Quiet, People – Amazing Service in Progress.
Commence with the Zen.
Appointments and Online Booking
Did you know that we now have an online booking system? Check it out at www.RaspberryMoonST.com (click the Book Your Appointment button on the right). This system enables us to send appointment confirmations, reminders, and allows you to change your appointment.
I do my best to get everyone in at their preferred times. If for any reason you are unable to make your appointment please let me know a minimum of 2 days beforehand. You will receive an email when you book your appointment and should also receive your appointment reminders via email 2 days beforehand. Please be sure to check your spam folder and add us to your safe list! Remember this is a courtesy reminder, not reading your emails is not a good reason for missing your appointments. If you do not show up for your appointment or cancel with less than 24 hour notice you will be charged the full service. I understand emergencies happen but we all need to respect each other’s time.
Out of the office:
