Facial of the Month – Raspberry White Peach Facial
The Raspberry White Peach Facial smells divine and leaves that winter skin behind! This treatment is very nourishing, hydrates the skin, is soothing, and has anti-inflammatory properties. The Raspberry Peach Enzyme is safe even for pregnant women and is good for normal/combination, dry, sensitive, photo-damaged and aging skin.
The Raspberry Peach Enzyme includes:
- Raspberry contains high levels of polyphenol antioxidant ellagic acid, which soothes skin irritations, acts as an astringent, and provides anti-inflammatory-like benefits.
- White Peach is softening to the skin, an excellent emollient, and aromatically relaxing.
- Pumpkin is an exfoliant that stimulates cell turnover with Vitamins C and A, antioxidant carotenoids, and beta-carotene.
- Hibiscus Flower is a gentle alternative to AHAs and has a moisturizing effect. It is an antioxidant that maintains skin elasticity, tones, and acts as an anti-inflammatory.
The White Peach Nourishing Mask features:
- White Peach is softening to the skin, an excellent emollient, and aromatically relaxing.
- Glycerin acts as an emollient and lubricant. It can also be a humectant and draw moisture from the air to the skin.
- Dermapep™ A350 is a retinoic-like multi-functional peptide for promoting collagen synthesis and inhibition of melanin synthesis.
- Indinyl® CA is extracted from the seeds of the ayurvedic plant Indian Senna (Cassia Angustifolia). Its branched structure, similar to hyaluronic acid, has been chosen both for its hydrophilic nature and its film forming, protecting, restructuring and moisturizing properties.
- Pacifeel™ fades redness of reactive skin up to 27%. It soothes sensitive skin by pacifying the communication between the epidermis and nerve endings.
- Squalane is a major component of human skin surface lipids (or oils). It helps keep skin soft and healthy, and its antioxidant capabilities help protect from harsh effects of the environment. It facilitates the permeation of the active ingredients and prevents the loss of water from the skin, improving skin appearance and health.
- Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E) is an anti-aging antioxidant that protects skin from free radicals.
1 Hour Treatment – $70
Product of the Month – Honey Cat Cosmetics Bath and Body Care
In ancient times it was believed that a parasite living on cats could infect their female owners, rendering them sexy, desirable, fun-loving, and, ahem…unfaithful. Welcome to the world of Honeycat Cosmetics, we put a fresh, sexy spin on bath and body products which appeal to the sexy, feline/cat woman in all us gals! There is an emphasis on the cat as a symbol of female sexuality, and sensuality. All of our products relate figuratively, colloquially, or literally to the cat.
Honeycat offers products ranging from emollient rich bath bombs, sassy lip balm, body lotions and creams, to bath salts, foot scrubs, and body scrubs. They are sexy, sensual, safe and chock full of what’s-good-for-your-skin-stuff. Honeycat products are natural, and never tested on animals, especially sexy felines.
Sexy, fun, clean and hip…that’s Honeycat!
Available for a limited time and while supplies last – Mention you read about this in the Newsletter and receive 20% off your Honeycat items through the month of March.
Five Things to BE in 2018
I read this article the other day in Skin Inc magazine called “10 Things to Strive For In 2018.” Although this was directed towards the skincare industry, I thought it was kind of a good measure for personal things to strive for this year so I tweaked to fit more to everyday life. Maybe some items will be a reminder of things you need to do.
Be Inspired
Read books, watch TED Talks, find some cool Podcasts, follow people online who work to inspire, to remind us that there are good things happening in the world. I love following Great Big Story on Facebook. They do videos based on people who are doing things differently. I also love Nas Daily and A Mighty Girl.
Be Healthy

I know a lot of people use FitBits or some kind of app to remind them to Drink Water, Get in more Steps, Stand Up, and who knows what else. Walk, join a gym, do online classes, go hiking or dancing. Whatever works best for you. We all know I love Greenville Yoga and Fit Body Boot Camp!
And check out this 92 year old yoga master. He really knows how to be healthy while living it up!
Be Safe
When was the last time you reviewed your insurance policies? No one really thinks too much about insurance, we just pay the bill and forget about it. Until the day comes when we need it and maybe we don’t have the right coverage or the right amount of coverage. Go over these policies with your insurance agent.
Be Prepared
No one wants to talk about death or illness but the truth is that it will happen to all of us and we never know when that time is coming. There are things you can do to make the transition for your family as easy as possible. Do you have a Will, Living Will, and Power of Attorney? Do you have a plan if something were to happen to you? Are your children taken care of? Do they have a Guardian? Do you have your bank accounts set up with a Transfer on Death (TOD)? If you aren’t sure what you need, see a lawyer. I have been putting off updating mine for a while and this is a priority for me this year. I already started setting up new bank accounts with a TOD and of course my investments all have beneficiaries.
Be Adventurous
What fun can you get into this year? Travel some place fun, it doesn’t have to be far away. Try an art class. Or Sky Diving, or a new hiking trail, or kayaking.
Appointments and Online Booking
Did you know that we now have an online booking system? Check it out at www.RaspberryMoonST.com (click the Book Your Appointment button on the right). This system enables us to send appointment confirmations, reminders, and allows you to change your appointment.
I do my best to get everyone in at their preferred times. If for any reason you are unable to make your appointment please let me know a minimum of 2 days beforehand. You will receive an email when you book your appointment and should also receive your appointment reminders via email 2 days beforehand. Please be sure to check your spam folder and add us to your safe list! Remember this is a courtesy reminder, not reading your emails is not a good reason for missing your appointments. If you do not show up for your appointment or cancel with less than 24 hour notice you will be charged the full service. I understand emergencies happen but we all need to respect each other’s time.
